Privacy Policy

Information handled by the app

PlumPad does not collect or transmit your document contents, file names, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or usage history to us. The app does not operate a cloud service and does not require an account.

Your documents are stored wherever you choose. Depending on the location you select, macOS or a storage provider you use may sync those files under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy. PlumPad does not control that service.

Information kept on your device

PlumPad stores a small amount of information locally so the app can remember your settings and work correctly. This can include:

• Preferences such as theme, font, line-number, and editor settings.
• Local document state and standard macOS recent-file information.
• A device Keychain value used to protect the integrity of the trial period.

This local information is not sent to PlumPad.

Apple services

PlumPad uses Apple’s Mac App Store and StoreKit for distribution, transaction verification, and restoring access. Apple processes those interactions under its own privacy terms. PlumPad can read verified StoreKit transaction status and an opaque app-transaction identifier, but we do not receive your Apple ID, payment-card details, or document contents.

This website

Plumpad.xyz does not use advertising, tracking pixels, forms, or our own analytics. It does not set PlumPad cookies.

The website is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel may process basic request and device information—such as an IP address, browser details, approximate location derived from an IP address, and request timestamps—to deliver and protect the site. That information is handled by Vercel under its privacy notice.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use it only to respond, provide support, and keep a reasonable record of the conversation. Please do not send sensitive information or private document contents unless they are necessary for support.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. The app does not send document or usage data to us, so we do not retain or share either. Support messages may be kept as long as reasonably necessary to answer your request, maintain support records, and meet legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

PlumPad is a general-purpose writing tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when PlumPad or the website changes. The date at the top will show the latest revision. If a change materially affects how information is handled, we will describe it here before or when the change takes effect.
